I was born in Messina in the spring, just when Prince’s “Kiss” was on top of the world’s charts. I crossed the strait like a modern Ulysses and landed in Rome, where I started studying and never stopped: first at Sapienza University, then at the Italian National Film School – Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Then, I completed a number of workshops at TorinoFilmLab and in 2020, I hit the Solinas Award. My graduation short film was presented at Cannes Film Festival, and my feature film hit the Venice Film Festival.
