Born in Madrid, Marco grew up in the theatre, thanks to his father, a renowned director. He started young in film as a runner and, while still studying, worked with Pedro Almodóvar, Carlos Saura and Jaime de Armiñán. His languages and adaptability took him onto major international productions, including The World Is Not Enough, Mission: Impossible II and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.
Since 2000 he has been directing commercials in Spain and abroad. He divides his time between Madrid, Rome and Reykjavík.
